The Carlile Swimming Team tops the state

The Carlile Swimming Team has topped the state in another step in a fantastic summer.

The youngest members of the Carlile Swimming team dominating the NSW junior titles over the weekend topping the point score by more than 1000 points, with 75 swimmers taking part in 333 races over the two days.

You can’t ask more than for swimmers to do their best and 60% of swims resulted in personal best times.

There were 8 gold medallists and 15 medallists in all producing a staggering 57 medals 22 more than at the same event last year.

Notable mentions to Emerson Hoo with 8 gold’s and two silvers, Mia Hoo picked up 4 golds, three silvers and two bronze medals. Chris and Ethan Songs picked up three gold medals each, Molly Young 2 Alina Bajusz, Anna Munzarova and Arnik Shams all; grabbed one gold medal.

Congratulations to all the Carlile Swimmers who competed in all 33 athletes managed top ten finishes.

In the combined Junior and Senior Point score Carlile also topped the state, with a combined score that was more than 2000 points ahead of last year.

It’s another amazing performance for the Chris Nesbit lead team and full credit to coaches Adam Mallet, Michaela Pattinson, Danny Marshall, Sophie Taylor, Jeremy Lagonilla and Jodi Armstrong. Bring on the NSW Open Titles!
